2026 Rankings 2026 Rankings: UMass Dartmouth ranked among the top 50 schools for game design

The Princeton Review ranks UMass Dartmouth's computer science game design program among the top 50 in the U.S. and top 13 in the Northeast

UMass Dartmouth has been named to the Princeton Review's 2026 list of top undergraduate game design programs. The College of Engineering's computer science program with a concentration in game design ranked #45 in the U.S. and #13 in the Northeast.  UMass Dartmouth is the only campus in the UMass system to earn a spot in this ranking.  

The Princeton Review's top schools for game design lists are based on a survey of 150+ institutions offering game design courses and/or degrees. The survey covers more than 40 data points including academics, lab facilities, faculty credentials, and career outcomes.
