UMass Dartmouth's Student Chapter of ISPE is a multi-faceted professional chapter that helps students become more familiar with the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries with topics including research and development, drug formulation and delivery, biomanufacturing, quality control, and more! With the help of the Boston Area Regional Chapter, we provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge from industry leaders in the region, establish connections with a network of like-minded individuals, and become a valuable partner throughout your time both as a student and a professional in this growing industry. There are currently over 14 student chapters at various universities in the Boston area, with the Boston Area regional chapter of ISPE being the largest in the world. As an official student member ($29 annual membership) you will gain access to numerous events and benefits. The annual ISPE Boston Area Product Show is held in mid-September at Gillette Stadium with hundreds of companies attending. This amazing networking event also features a career fair with several dozen companies looking to hire interns and full-time employees. In the winter, ISPE holds an annual resume workshop at Northeastern University where nearly one hundred students from the area come together to learn crucial professional development skills. ISPE also offers a mentorship program where students can be paired up with an industry professional who shares similar interests.
