Robert Greene is a Connecticut based sculptor/artist whose work deals primarily with the human condition. The activity of the human mind is his primary inspiration. After graduating from Eastern Connecticut State University, he went on to pursue a Master’s in Fine Art at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2010. From 2011 to 2012 he taught at Umass Dartmouth as teacher of record in the 3D department. After receiving his Master’s in 2013, he currently teaches in the visual arts department at Eastern Connecticut State University. Being a recent graduate his sculptures have been gaining recognition along the east coast with several of pieces in private collection. His work has been mentioned from local news papers to the Boston Globe. As he continues to exhibit his work he is also busy in his own studio creating new pieces and making new discoveries. He enjoys nurturing the creative minds his students as he engages them in thought provoking exercises and projects.

"I am honored to be asked a part of this show. ArtistsLendSupport and the cause it represents is something I hold dear to my heart. In 1997 Kerry Greene (my father) lost his battle with the terrible disease ALS. He dealt with his illness with such courage and grace while he was on this earth. His compassion, humor, and brilliance will forever hold my greatest respect and admiration. This show grants me the opportunity to give back for those that a battling this illness and to companies like ALSTDI researching for a cure. My heart truly goes out to those with ALS and their families. I only wish I can do more."
