Art History student Mariah Tarentino
We at CVPA are proud to announce that senior Mariah Tarentino is working as Student Editorial Assistant for Art Journal Open, a publication of the storied College Art Association! Art Journal Open publishes original content from scholars, teachers, archivists, curators, critics, and other cultural producers and commentators, with the commitment to foster new intellectual exchanges. Contributions primarily focus on post-1945 material with emphasis on the contemporary.
Mariah is an Art History major with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. She is particularly interested in feminist, postcolonial, and socio-political contemporary art and visual culture. She is an active member of the UMass Dartmouth campus community and is currently President of the Art History Club. Mariah is thrilled to be working with Dr. Rebecca Uchill on Art Journal Open, and excited about this opportunity to learn more about the field of art history.
