UMass Dartmouth CVPA Lecture Series will Feature Fred Ho Residency Sept 20-22

UMass Dartmouth College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) Lecture Series Residency featuring Fred Ho will be September 20-22. Fred Ho is an accomplished baritone saxophone player, composer, band leader, recording artist, sideman, community activist, guest lecturer, and much more. He has recorded many albums and is a published author.The following is a list of Fred Ho performances, lectures, and presentations available this week.

UMass Dartmouth College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) Lecture Series Residency featuring Fred Ho will be September 20-22. Fred Ho is an accomplished baritone saxophone player, composer, band leader, recording artist, sideman, community activist, guest lecturer, and much more. He has recorded many albums and is a published author. Mr. Ho is a Harvard University graduate and an accomplished musician. The following is a list of Fred Ho performances, lectures, and presentations available this week.

Monday, September 20, at 4 p.m., Frederick Douglass Unity House, UMass Dartmouth Main campus, Poetry Performance of The Black Panther Suite. 

Tuesday, September 21, at 12:30 p.m. CVPA room 104, 21st Century Production Design and Big Band Epics and; 7 p.m., CVPA Star Store lecture hall, 715 Purchase Street, New Bedford; Revolutionary Production Design in Opera and Multimedia Video. 

Wednesday, September 22 at 12:30 p.m., Claire T. Carney Library Browsing Area, Future's End: Revolution is the Only Solution, and it must Be Luddite (Ecology, Capitalism, and Socialism); and at 7:30 p.m., CVPA Star Store Crapo Gallery, 715 Purchase Street, New Bedford; Concert of music in the African American Tradition, with Fred Ho, Saxophone, and royal hartigan, drumset and percussion.
