Media and Music Lifelines
A song prelude by Sharen Robertson and literary agent Henry Holmes to speak at the Claire T. Carney Library Associates hosted event December 5, 2010
The UMass Dartmouth Claire T. Carney Library Associates present Media and Music Lifelines. The program will open with singer and songwriter, Sharen Robertson followed by an insightful discussion of the publishing world by literary agent Henry Holmes on Sunday, December 5 at 2 p.m. at the UMass Dartmouth School of Law, 333 Faunce Corner Road, North Dartmouth.
Sharen Wendy Robertson is a singer/songwriter from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She writes and sings her own songs, which are inspired by significant life changing events both good and sad. She will join us on December 5 to share several of her original recordings. Henry Holmes knows the publishing business and wants to encourage aspiring writers. With a broad media and marketing background including, consultant, editor, writer, book publicist and broadcast journalist Mr. Holmes will share his experience as literary agent. With an extensive background in communications, he has taught courses in TV-radio journalism. He has worked as a successful book publicist and literary agent for many years. Mr. Holmes will be available for questions following his talk.
