The campus is open. Ring Road parking ban lifted.

February 11, 6:24 a.m. -- THE CAMPUS IS OPEN.

The campus is open.

The Ring Road parking ban has been lifted.

Please exercise caution while walking and driving on campus as workers continue to clear roads, parking lots and walkways of snow.

February 9, 10:46 p.m. -- WEDNESDAY CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES CANCELLED, RING ROAD PARKING BAN SCHEDULED

All UMass Dartmouth classes and activities have been cancelled for Wednesday, February 10.

A parking ban for Ring Road will be in effect as of 8 a.m. All vehicles on Ring Road after 8 a.m. will be towed to make room for snow removal.

All designated essential personnel should report to duty. Please visit www.umassd.edu for updates.

Tuesday, February 9, 8:25 p.m. -- The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow, which is in effect from 8 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

This Winter Storm Warning includes northern Connecticut... Rhode Island
and south of Interstate 90 in Massachusetts. This includes the cities
of Hartford... Springfield... Worcester... Boston... Providence... Taunton...Brockton... Plymouth... Fall River and New Bedford.

Snow is expected to develop between 7 a.m. and 10 am from Hartford to Springfield to Providence Rhode Island. For the remainder of the region including the greater Boston area... snow will overspread the region between 10 am and 1 PM. Snow will become heavy at times across the warning area Wednesday afternoon and continue into the evening.

Tuesday, February 9, 8:58 a.m. -- A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Wednesday morning through late Wednesday night, the National Weather Service reports. This Winter Storm Watch includes northern Connecticut, Rhode, Island and southeast Massachusetts.
