Exhibition a Collaborative Experience Between Architecture, Nature, and Artist

UMass Dartmouth's College of Visual & Performing Arts 26th Annual Student Sculpture Exhibition is underway and will be showcased throughout the main University campus until May 18. The opening reception for the outdoor exhibition is today May 2, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. and will include a group walk of the exhibition.

This exhibition by UMass Dartmouth sculpture students is a collaborative experience between architecture, nature and the artist. For the artist it offers challenging opportunities to experiment, to explore their art on an expanded scale and create sculpture for an environment beyond traditional settings. Each year the sculpture majors come together to mount this exhibition and the entire community is able to enjoy their visions, their hard work, and their sculpture.
