Associate Professor Hillary Farber to Discuss Constitutional, Regulatory, and Policy Issues on Drones
University of Massachusetts School of Law at Dartmouth (UMass Law) Associate Professor Hillary Farber will take part in a panel discussion on the constitutional, regulatory and policy questions related to drone expansion Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 5:30 p.m., at the Social Law Library at the John Adams Courthouse. The panel "Drone Home: Constitutional, Regulatory and Policy Issues Pertaining to Unmanned Aerial Surveillance" is presented by the Boston Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society (ACS).
Professor Farber (J.D., Northeastern University School of Law; B.A., University of Michigan) has taught at UMass Law since June 2011 in the areas of criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence, and legal ethics. She has previously taught and instructed students at Northeastern University School of Law, Suffolk University Law School, Harvard Law School, and New England School of Law. She recently completed an article Eyes in the Sky: Constitutional and Regulatory Approaches to Domestic Drone Deployment on the domestic use of drones forthcoming in the Syracuse Law Review.
