Secretary Matthew Malone to speak on "The State of Education in the State"
Massachusetts Secretary of Education Matthew Malone will speak on "The State of Education in the State" Tuesday December 9, at 4 p.m., at UMass Dartmouth's Woodland Commons.
Secretary Malone is responsible for overseeing the Patrick Administration's efforts to build a more aligned, comprehensive 21st century public education system that prepares every student in the Commonwealth to be a lifelong learner and succeed in the global economy. Prior to his appointment, Malone served as Superintendent of the Brockton Public Schools and Swampscott Public Schools.
