Professor Sulkowski teams up with Renee Laurencelle '15 to raise funds for former UMass Boston business student who lost her life in 2013 at Boston Marathon

UMass Dartmouth Charlton College of Business Professor Adam Sulkowski has joined the fundraising team to raise money for the Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund for the 2015 Boston Marathon.  The scholarship provides monetary support to students across the five campuses of UMass. The scholarship is dedicated to Krystle Campbell, a former student at UMass Boston, who tragically succumbed to injuries in the April 2013 bombings at the Boston Marathon. 

Professor Sulkowski, a Fulbright Scholar specializing in business law and sustainable development, joins UMass Dartmouth student athlete Renee Laurencelle '15, a member of the University's women's track and field and cross country teams, who is also running in the 2015 Boston Marathon for the scholarship fund. This will be Professor Sulkowski's 20th year in a row running in the Boston Marathon. 

Professor Sulkowski grew up in Sudbury, MA and now resides in Cambridge, MA.

In the 2014 Boston Marathon, Renee, along with fellow student runner, Eric Karstunen '15, raised more than $6,000 for the Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund. In total, the Run For Krystle team, which include students and alumni across the UMass system raised more than $100,000 dollars last year.

Both runners will be at the UMass Boston campus for a Marathon celebration with special guest Dr. Cheri Blauwet. The 2015-2016 Krystle Campbell Scholarship winners will be announced at the event. 

The scholarship was set up by University of Massachusetts Trustee Richard P. Campbell, J.D. Serving as the not for profit partner for the Krystle Campbell Scholarship endowment.
