News 2016: Alumni board officers and members announced

Volunteers will help build national network of Corsairs

The UMass Dartmouth Alumni Association announced the election of three new officers and several new board members today.

“We are very pleased that these individuals have stepped up to serve on the Board,” said UMass Dartmouth Director of Alumni Relations Nancy Vanasse ’90, MBA ‘05. “We have an excellent group of volunteers and they will play a key role in building a robust network among our 45,000 alumni nationwide.”

The newly elected officers are:

President Dan DeOliveira, ‘93, of Bellingham - Principal Scientist, Group Leader, and Project Leader at Ipsen Bioscience.

Vice President Greg McCarthy, ’13 of Tyngsboro - Social Media Engagement Manager at Dell.

Treasurer Samantha Bailey, ’12, of Dedham -- Asst. Director of the Wellesley Fund at Wellesley College.
