Reception for ‘March of the Unwavering’ takes place during AHA! Night March 10

Local public safety officials hoping to break down barriers between themselves and the community through art.

UMass Dartmouth’s College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) is hosting a new exhibit March of the Unwavering: Artists Working in Public Safety at its Star Store Campus in Downtown New Bedford.

Police officers, corrections officers, parole officers and prosecuting attorneys have all offered their creative talent into making this unique show. The show will run through March 15, with an opening reception on AHA! Night, 6-9 p.m. on March 10. Held monthly in Downtown New Bedford, AHA! Night is a free cultural night dedicated to revitalizing New Beford's arts scene.

UMass Dartmouth’s Star Store Campus is located at 715 Purchase Street in New Bedford.  The University Art Gallery is open daily from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and closed on major holidays.  All events are free and open to the public.
