Law librarians Almeida and Wood author article for American Library Association journal

In a recent article, UMass Law public services librarians Jessica Almeida and Emma Wood explored the success of a "fine-free" policy at a small academic library through a social-theory lens.  The article, titled "If We Charge Them, Will They Come?: Fostering Positive Relationships with Students by Remaining Fine-Free," appeared in the spring 2017 edition Reference & User Services Quarterly, a publication of the American Library Association.  The article is available on SSRN.
