News 2017: UMass Dartmouth online Public Policy program earns top 10 ranking
UMass Dartmouth online Public Policy program earns top 10 ranking

BestColleges.com ranks programs based on “career support services, available specializations, student outcomes, and course availability”

UMass Dartmouth’s online Master of Public Policy (MPP) program has earned a top 10 ranking on BestColleges.com, a national website designed to help prospective students find the school that best meets their needs.

The site ranks a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs based on “career support services, available specializations, student outcomes, and course availability.”

The MPP program provides preparation for advancement or employment in state, federal and municipal governments. It also is well suited for leadership of non-profit organizations, non-governmental organizations, and business, trade and labor associations. The course of study focuses on policy analysis, applied research and public management skills.

MPP graduates are currently employed in leadership positions at the following organizations:

Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

The program is affiliated with the Public Policy Center; UMass Dartmouth’s applied social science research, technical assistance, and public service unit.
