Campus visit helped local Scouts working on their STEM Nova badge

Bioengineering senior Sadeq Taha and Bioenginering professor Tracie Ferreira took the local Cub Scout Den of Smith Mills Troop 74 on a tour of the Engineering Labs at UMass Dartmouth.

The Cub Scouts were working on their STEM Nova badge. They toured the bioengineering labs, molecular engineering, tissue engineering, medical device and 3D printing labs. They also were wowed in the robotics lab, fluid thermodynamics, and material testing labs.
