UMass Dartmouth will hold the 16th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast on Friday, February 2 at 8:30 a.m. at Woodland Commons. Shaun King, a voice in the Black Lives Matter movement will deliver the keynote address. 

Proceeds from the event support student-centered diversity initiatives at UMass Dartmouth. Last year's event raised funds for:

  • Haitian American Student Association
  • Nursing- Bridging the Gap Program
  • Two scholarships for Share the Dream 
  • S.P.E.A.K.
  • African Student Association
  • Unity Fest
  • Cape Verdean Student Association
  • National Association of Black Engineers
