Blue & Gold Legacy Award: Rev. Dr. Robert P. Lawrence

Reverend Dr. Robert P. Lawrence will posthumously receive the inaugural Blue & Gold Legacy Award for his commitment to UMassD and the community, with his wife, Elizabeth L. Duffy, accepting on his behalf. Rev. Lawrence was an inspiration to UMass Dartmouth and our community for many years as our spiritial leader. He received an honorary degree from UMassD in 2007. The Blue & Gold Legacy Award was established this year by the Alumni Association to honor an individual who is not a graduate of UMass Dartmouth or its predecessor institutions, but who is recognized for exceptional career accomplishments or service to UMassD and the community at large.
