July 29, 2020

Dear College of Nursing & Health Sciences Students and Families,

I hope you have remained well and safe during this summer break. I want to provide a brief update on our fall educational plans.

Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science students will have on-campus laboratory instruction and nursing students will return to health agency-based clinical education. There may be modifications to these experiences depending on the course and/or the agencies' expectations.

CNHS takes your safety very seriously. We will adhere to CDC guidelines and follow the recommendations of our federal, state, and local health officials. Students will be provided with any needed personal protective equipment based on guidelines and the expectations of healthcare agencies where they will receive their clinical experience.

All of us in the College of Nursing & Health Sciences look forward to welcoming you back to campus in September.

Sincerely,
Kimberly A. Christopher, PhD, RN
Dean and Professor
