UMass Dartmouth expands Commencement Weekend

With statewide COVID-19 restrictions lifted on May 29, the University will hold larger ceremonies and host up to 6 guests for each graduate

Students celebrating at Commencement

As we’ve learned countless times over the past year, things change quickly. Commencement went virtual. Then conditions improved so we could celebrate on campus with limited capacity. With Governor Baker’s recent announcement that statewide COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted on May 29, UMass Dartmouth will be able to hold larger Commencement ceremonies and host up to 6 guests for each graduating student. We are excited to welcome more of your friends and family to cheer you on as you cross the stage.

UMass Dartmouth’s Commencement Weekend will consist of 4 ceremonies spread across Friday, June 11, and Saturday, June 12.
