Charlton climbs 8 spots in Fortune's 2026 rankings
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s Charlton College of Business has once again earned national recognition in Fortune's 2026 Best Business Schools and MBA Programs rankings.
The Charlton MBA ranked No. 72 in the nation, climbing eight spots from its No. 80 placement in the 2025 rankings. Among schools with out-of-state tuition under $23,000, Charlton ranked seventh, underscoring the program's value and return on investment.
Fortune's annual ranking assesses MBA programs using a data-driven methodology that considers factors such as student outcomes, return on investment, admissions selectivity, and academic experience.
"This recognition affirms the strength of our MBA program and the success of our graduates," said Charlton College of Business Dean Madan Annavarjula. "We remain committed to providing an accessible, career-driven education, innovating our curriculum, and strengthening industry partnerships to ensure our graduates are prepared to lead in a rapidly evolving business environment."
