UMass Law Professor Hillary Farber has been appointed to the Law Enforcement Body Camera Task Force by Governor Charlie Baker. The 25-member task force was founded in 2021. The Task Force’s mission is to propose regulations for the procurement and use of body-worn cameras by law enforcement officers throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Task Force will present legislators with its recommendations this summer.
