On-campus organizations: administration, faculty, staff, and students
The Conferencing and Events Office can help you—whether you're new to planning meetings or highly experienced in organizing major events.

Reservable space availability
Reservable spaces include the Main Auditorium, CVPA Recital Hall 153, Woodland Commons community center, a variety of conference rooms, and other spaces throughout campus.
To determine reservable space availability, log into ReservIt.
Reserving a space
Submit request online - Administration, faculty, staff, and authorized students are encouraged to use the Web Viewer to view availability and ReservIt to submit reservation requests online. To do this, log in and follow the instructions in ReservIt, which you can also access via the myUMassD portal.
Check request status - After submitting a ReservIt request, you will receive an email with a reference number to check the status of your request in ReservIt.
Confirmation - Your reservation is only a request until you receive an email notifying you that your event has been approved and the status changed to confirmed.
Student authorization - If you are a student organization representative, please check with your organization's executive board to determine who is authorized to make reservations on behalf of your organization. Student organization E-Board members must register with the SAIL Office to be granted access to ReservIt.
Student dances - Student organizations planning a dance party should be familiar with the UMass Dartmouth policy governing student dances included in the Conferencing and Events Reservation Policy.
Cost - For on-campus organizations, there is no charge for reserving a space; however, fees apply for additional services such as catering and technical services.

Catering options include breakfast ensembles, lunch ensembles, lunch buffets, dinner buffets, dinner á la carte, salads, hors d'oeuvres, snacks, desserts, and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. (Alcoholic beverages may only be served and consumed in licensed areas.)
Catering on campus is provided exclusively by Dining Services; other caterers are not permitted on campus.

Technical equipment may be reserved in advance. Available equipment includes:
- Podiums, lecterns, and microphones, including wireless hand-held mics, wireless clip-on mics, and instrument mics
- CD players
- DVD players
- TV/DVD cart
- Lighting (including dance lighting and band lights)
