What happens to the money on the account at the end of the year?
The money deposited on either account is never forfeited by you and is available throughout your entire education at the university. When graduating, transferring or withdrawing from the university, contact the UMass Pass Office in writing, requesting the remainder of your balance. (Please include your name, social security number, date of withdrawal, and current address). Your balance will be determined and a check will be sent to you. Cash refunds cannot be given at anytime.
