LAW 728: International Contract Law - spring

Prerequisite: LAW 540 & LAW 541

A discussion of international contract law from the perspective of the U.S.A. and the European Union. The course will focus on the parties¿ obligations and the system of breach of contract in international contracts ruled by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The U.S.A. and 93 other states worldwide have ratified this convention.
