MLS 327: Appls to Immunohematology - winter

Prerequisite: MLS 325, 301, 313, 331, & 341

Theoretical and practical application of immunology and human genetics to immunohematology will be covered. The applied principles of transmission genetics and allelic expression in the formation of blood group antigens, quality management in transfusion medicine, and problem-based learning strategies to identifying clinically significant antibodies will be introduced in the course.
