PSY 413: Culture and Emotion - fall
Prerequisite: PSY major and PSY 39X or HLT major and HLT 316 or permission of instructor
A survey of major theories of emotion from various subdisciplines of psychology. Students will evaluate primary sources, empirical evidence, and ethnographic evidence of emotion concepts from traditional and primitive societies. Projects include a group oral presentation and synthesis papers.
